The Department of Homeland Security plays a vital role in the protection of the United States. As the nation's largest law enforcement agency, DHS is charged with preventing terrorism and securing and managing our nation's borders. The agency also enforces our nation's immigration laws and helps secure our nation from cyber attacks.

This event will feature representatives from two important agencies within the Department of Homeland Security: Customs and Border Protection (CPB) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Students will learn about the missions of each organization and the various criminal justice-related positions within the respective agencies. The goal is to provide students with the knowledge of what it will take to successfully pursue a career in the Department of Homeland Security.

Seating is limited to 80 students.

The event will be live streamed for online students and those who can't make it. Students will receive an email with the live stream website and password prior to the event.
